What is catalytic combustion?

Catalytic combustion is a complete oxidation reaction of NG or LPG on the surface of catalyst. In the process of catalytic combustion reaction, low-energetic free radicals are generated on the surface of catalyst. Low-energetic free radicals generate vibrating and exciting materials to release heat energy in the form of infrared ray.

It doesn’t or seldom generates contaminants like NOx, CO and HC. Even if it generated a little, at the same time of complete reacting, catalyst selectively inhibits the side reaction of generated poisonous and harmful material.
